APPLE BOOTCAMP
You've probably heard the news by now: Windows now works with Macs!
Apple unveiled Boot Camp, public beta software that enables Intel-based Macs to run Windows XP.
I wanted to share this news with you because my mac mini has transformed my life. It's a sweet machine and just in case you are hesitant about switching to a Mac because of your investment in Windows applications you may now reconsider. With Boot Camp, you can install Windows XP and your existing Windows applications on any Intel-based Mac. This great news for me because as I've said before, the MondoMouth show runs two flavors of computers: Mac and PC. Now, I'll be able to have both flavors on one machine: my Mac Mini.
If you want to take Boot Camp for a spin, you can download it at http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/.
Please note: Boot Camp is public software that is now in beta and only works with Intel-based machines. In addition, downloading Boot Camp is free.
